New Room

It's official...Caleb has moved into his new "big boy room" down the hall so that baby Connor can have the nursery. Well, I say he's moved but technically he is still sleeping in the crib in his old room. So actually Caleb's toys and clothes have moved down the hall. It's a process, as long as we get him sleeping in the new room before Connor is ready to move out of our room (he'll be with us the first few months) we're good.

Big Brother

We have been working to prepare Caleb for his new role as big brother. Although I am pretty sure he knows something is up, I don't think he has any idea how his world is about to change. His Nana recently bought him a doll so that he can get used to having a baby around. Really his only interest in the doll is in feeding it. While he still has some improvements to make in technique, I think he gets an "A" for effort.

(side note: Brad will be completely mortified when he realizes there are pictures of his son playing with a doll on the Internet)

At least Caleb will look the part in his Big Bro shirt. I'd like to add that I asked Brad to take some pictures of Caleb in his shirt, so he literally took some pictures of Caleb's shirt - minus the rest of him!

Take me out to the ballgame!

Today was opening day at the ballpark and Brad and Caleb started a new tradition. They plan to attend together every year (Brad says this is a "boys only" tradition but I have a feeling I may get invited next year when he sees what two little ones is really like). I am not sure what all went on, I guess that's the idea, but they both made it back in one piece so we will consider the outing a success.
